Another option we highly recommend is getting bigger sized gutters and downspouts. Most homes use 5″ gutters when they should really be using 6″ gutters. Some roofs are so steep and big that so much water comes rushing down 5″ gutters can’t handle them. Not only will this save you a lot of trouble since the gutter is bigger the debris has more space to spread out in and will get clogged less often.
